Terms and Conditions for AFCM Annual Conference - 2025
1. General Information
1.1 These terms and conditions ("Terms") govern your participation in AFCM Annual Conference 2025 - Tunisia ("Event"), organized by The Arab Federation of Capital Markets - AFCM ("Organizer").
1.2 By registering for the event, you agree to comply with these terms.
2. Registration
2.1 All participants must register through the official event website by completing the registration form.
2.2 The organizer reserves the right to close registration upon reaching capacity or by the registration deadline.
3. Travel and Accommodation
3.1 Participants are responsible for arranging their own travel and accommodation unless explicitly stated otherwise by the organizer.
3.2 The organizer may provide recommended accommodation options but is not responsible for bookings or cancellations.
4. Speakers and Panels
4.1 The event program, including speakers and panels, is subject to change without prior notice.
4.2 Views expressed by speakers are their own and do not represent the views of the organizer.
4.3 The organizer is not responsible for any speaker cancellations or schedule changes.
5. Cancellations and Refunds
5.1 The Organizer reserves the right to cancel or postpone the event for reasons beyond their control. In such cases, participants will be offered a full refund of the registration fee.
5.2 The Organizer is not liable for any costs incurred due to event cancellation, including travel and accommodation expenses.
6. Code of Conduct
6.1 Participants are expected to conduct themselves professionally and respectfully throughout the event.
6.2 Disruptive or inappropriate behavior may result in removal from the event without refund.
6.3 Harassment or discrimination of any kind will not be tolerated.
7. Liability
7.1 The Organizer is not liable for any personal injury, loss, or damage to personal property during the Event.
7.2 Participants are responsible for obtaining adequate insurance coverage for travel, health, and personal property.
8. Intellectual Property
8.1 All event content, including presentations, materials, and recordings, is the intellectual property of the organizer or respective speakers and may not be reproduced or distributed without permission.
8.2 Participants may take photographs or recordings for personal use only unless otherwise prohibited by the organizer.
9. Privacy
9.1 The Organizer will collect and process personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws and the privacy policy available on the event website.
9.2 By registering, participants consent to the use of their data for event purposes, including communication and promotional activities.
9.3 The organizer will not share personal information with third parties except where necessary for event operations, such as payment processing or badge printing, or as required by law.
9.4 Participants have the right to access, update, or delete their personal information by contacting the organizer at info@arab-exchanges.org .
9.5 The organizer will implement appropriate security measures to protect participants' personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, or loss.
10. Governing Law
10.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of the Lebanese Republic.
10.2 Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Event shall be resolved in the courts of Lebanon.
